I have a 1994 buick lesabre. When ever I hit the gas rather soft or hard the car makes a pssssst sound?

The sound only accurs when I hit the gas. I am not loosing power, atleast I don’t think so. What could this be? Most times I turn the radio up so i don’t have to hear it. I am afraid that it may be the transmission!!!
It may be more like a whistling sound!

You should consult your local automotive technician.

Transmission, exhaust, vacuum leak,. . . . . . and the list goes on to long to list here. You should have your mechanic check it to make sure it is not something critical. This will also ease your mind. It will just get worse whether you can hear it over the radio or not.

Could be the front main seal might be leaking. . .
